Herr Steve Joyce said: "Saturnino Farandola is an absolutely great film. Lot's of fun. Somehow, it bridges the gap for me between George Melies and the much later work of the Czech Karel Zemen.
I agree that it should be better known as should the writings and illustrations of A. Robida from whence the film was adapted".
